As reported by Breitbart News, GovTrack had released a list of 100 senators in 2019, placing Harris in the #100 spot, identifying her as the most liberal senator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was ranked #99, just behind Harris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This list has since been deleted, and attempting to access the page now results in a \u201cpage not found\u201d message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
GovTrack defines its mission as publishing \u201cthe status of federal legislation\u201d and providing \u201cinformation\u201d on elected representatives or senators, including voting records and original research on legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re one of the oldest government transparency websites in the world,\u201d the website states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a 2020 interview with CBS News\u2019s Norah O\u2019Donnell, Harris was asked about being \u201cconsidered the most liberal United States senator.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomebody said that, and it was actually Mike Pence on the debate stage,\u201d Harris responded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O\u2019Donnell then informed her that the \u201cnonpartisan\u201d GovTrack had rated her as the most liberal senator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou supported the Green New Deal, you supported Medicare for all,\u201d O\u2019Donnell noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another recent development, Axios published an article claiming that Harris never held the title \u201cborder czar,\u201d a term used by lawmakers and media outlets. The outlet updated the article, adding an editor\u2019s note acknowledging the error in labeling Harris a \u201cborder czar\u201d in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This follows President Joe Biden\u2019s announcement on Sunday that he was withdrawing from the presidential race and endorsing Harris as the Democratic Party\u2019s presidential nominee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harris has received endorsements from Democrats including Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA), Gov. Wes Moore (D-MD), Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), Gov.
