Jim Jordan (R., Ohio) subpoenaed Willis in the beginning of February to provide documents concerning the grant amount of $488,000 from the federal government as well as the whistleblower allegations that were made by an ex- Willis employee Amanda Timpson, who was designated as director of grants prior to the time that the prosecutor abruptly sacked her in January 2022.

Jordan threatened to place Willis as a contemptible member of Congress the 14th of March, after the district attorney reacted to the subpoena with the “narrow set of documents” which were not related to Timpson’s whistleblower claims. Willis replied the demands of Jordan to hold him in contempt were “unreasonable and uncustomary” and suggested that the investigation was a bid to thwart her case of election interference against the former US president Donald Trump.

In a statement issued on Friday Wednesday the DOJ spokeswoman told The Beacon there were “inconsistencies” appeared during its examination of Willis his office. “During our review of the award to respond to this inquiry, we have noticed some inconsistencies in what Fulton County has reported to [the Federal Subaward Reporting System] and we are working with them to update their reporting accordingly,” the spokesperson stated.

The examination of Willis federal funds was the most recent scandal that has engulfed her office as she pursues the former president Donald Trump.

On March 1, Willis his ex-lover as well as co-prosecutor Nathan Wade resigned from the Trump case in March, giving Trump a partisan victory. Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee concluded that the ex-lovers’ relationship did not result in an “actual conflict” that would cause Willis out of the case.

On February 1, Breitbart News published a report that said it was reported that the Biden administration has an Democrat agent in an Fulton County office to target Trump. Should the Biden administration had planted the operative, according to sources claim, it would be a convincing argument to show that the administration influenced this year’s presidential elections.

The Justice Department said Friday it has revealed “inconsistencies” in Fulton County Prosecutor Fani Willis’s use and misuse of federal grant money, and confirmed allegations of a whistleblower.
